A new hostel for the Chakma and Hajong
children in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India

Aims of the Project:

Short term:
1. To make the Chakma and Hajong children literate through holistic education.
2. To give exposure to the Chakma and Hajong children.

Long Term:
1. To develop this hostel into residential Senior Secondary school.
2. To build the confidence and capacity of the people through value-based education based on the five core universal values truthfulness, righteous conduct, peace, love and non-violence.

Target Group:

Chakma and Hajong children who are deprived of even the basic education and health care facilities. Initially 30 children will be the direct beneficiaries.
