A Public Charitable Trust by the deed of declaration of Trust Deed No13591. SNEHA is also registered under Section 12A(a) of the Income Tax Act 1961, Mayur Bhawan, New Delhi.

SNEHA was also granted section 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961.

SNEHA has been granted registration under Section 6 (1) (a) of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, vide letter No. II/21022/83 (0242)/2005-FCRA-II dated 4 December 2007 (Registration No. 231660823) to receive foreign contributions.
