SNEHA (compassion) is a professionally managed not-for-profit organization that works for the underprivilged sections of society especially the Tribals and Dalits as they are socially, educationally and economically the most backward communities of the society. SNEHA strives to make a difference in the lives of these people people through value-based education for their children. In the process, SNEHA endeavours to bring into the consciousness of the children and parents about their hidden potentialities.
To seek deeper level of social transformation, SNEHA would address poverty, injustice and discrimination by enabling these communities develop a questioning spirit on prevailing social, political and economic deprivations. the idea is to inform their opinion on democratic deficits and motivate them for constructive activism.
